Best Employers in Philippines lead the way with a 16-point higher employee engagement score than market average.


MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Media OutReach – 3 October 2018 – Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement, and health solutions, has named four organisations as Best Employers in Philippines for 2018.


Best Employers in the Philippines achieved Employee Engagement scores of 88%, compared to a market average of 72%.  On an average, t hey also scored 12 points higher than market average across the other Best Employer indices of Employer Brand, Effective Leadership, and High-Performance Culture.



In a dynamic economic environment, Best Employers inspire their employees with a compelling vision. 87% of employees in Best Employer organisations agree that their senior leadership provides them a clear direction for the future (13 points higher than market average).


In addition, Best Employers have a total rewards strategy in place that focuses not just on pay but on benefits for both the employees and their families as well. 81% of Best Employer employees feel that they receive appropriate recognition for their contributions (20 points higher than market average) and 78% of them feel that theorganisation’s benefit plan meets their and their family’s needs well (market average, 63%).
